Men need to exercise vigorously every day, as was previously explained. Boredom and dissatisfaction can lead to destructive actions or excessive barking if they don't have enough physical outlets.
Due to their high activity levels, rigorous exercise requirements, and forceful nature, Belgian Malinois may not be the best choice for individuals who are inexperienced with handling dominant breeds or are first time dog owners.
Shedding and Grooming Requirements
Belgian Malinois shed less than long-haired dogs, despite not being hypoallergenic. Regular brushing nevertheless aids in maintaining coat condition and controlling loose hair.
While the breed is generally healthy, there are rare instances of hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, progressive retinal atrophy, and epilepsy in this breed.
Some Belgian Malinoiss can be quite vocal, prone to barking or whining, especially when left alone for extended periods.
